  • What makes Cheshire Glam different?
    Cheshire Glam offers beautiful high quality pre-loved occasion wear and "as new" never worn occasion wear at a realistic price and in a spacious, informal and friendly setting. Visiting customers will enjoy exclusive access to the shop for the duration of their appointment with the ability to try outfits on in a comfortable environment in private and without interruption or pressure.
  • Do I have to make an appointment?
    Yes, an appointment is required. A 90 minute appointment per customer is recommended to set a nice pace to browse and try on dresses.
  • How many people can I bring to my appointment?
    It is a good idea to bring someone with you whose opinion you also really value. You are welcome to bring yourself and a maximum of two other guests. Sorry children are not permitted in the boutique.
  • Are your dresses new?
    We carry a mix of “pre-loved” dresses that have been worn once and dry cleaned but the large majority of our stock has never been worn and is therefore "as new” with original labels attached.
  • What sizes do your dresses come in?
    Our outfits range from 8-22.
  • How much choice do you offer?
    To ensure customers have a good selection of outfits to browse through, Cheshire Glam carries a stock of approximately 220 to 250 outfits across the range of sizes.
  • How much do your dresses and outfits cost?
    All of our dresses carry a designer label so prices are higher than high street brands. However our outfits typically sell for 50% or less of the recommended retail price that you could expect to pay for the same outfit brand new in a designer boutique.
  • Do you offer an alterations service?
    We do not offer a service onsite but can make recommendations for experienced tailoresses in the locality.
  • Should I wear tights to try on?
    Yes, it is a good idea to wear nude tights – not black!
  • What is your returns policy?
    Due to the fact that our outfits are heavily discounted, we do not typically offer cash refunds and all outfits are sold as seen and checked before leaving the boutique. If you are not entirely delighted with your purchase, exchanges can be made in person within a 7 day period subject to satisfactory inspection of items and non-removal of Cheshire Glam and/or original labels.
